interpretation on ""I am Troubled Immeasurably..." By Jim Morrison

i have to say it grabbed me as soon as i saw it. So i shared it with an artist friend of mine and she viewed it much more negative then I did. I tired doing some searchs on the net for interpretation of poem but found nothing on the poem and mostly interpretations of his style and focus. So i figured what better place to ask then the group that exposed me to it.

Careers, Love, friendships... I guess the ones I lose never mattered to being with after all the ones who do stick around are worth more the all the riches in the world.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I haven't been back here until now. That poem of Jim's is just a favorite of mine. I would have to think about it before I could say what it means to me.

I also love his poem 'Latino Chrome' and 'An American Prayer' but I don't have them memorized and didn't find them on the net.

I don't know if Jim really said this or not,but in The Doors movie,Val KIlmer says "Where's your will to be weird?", and I like that.:)
