Hi Robert,

I invited myself to this group you created too. I have Sting's fascinating CD of John Dowland's songs, titled "Songs from the Labyrinth." And I think Elvis Costelo had one (or several?) of Dowland's in his album "The Juliet Letters." Music and poetry reaches out to us from across the centuries!

Do you like Herbie Hancock? His newest, "The Joni Letters," (hey, we got two "Letters" now), of songs by Joni Mitchell, who has turned to jazz after her long career in folk, is I think simply great. Earlier, in Hancock's "Gershwin's World," Joni sings a superb version of "The Man I Love."

AH! Nice to see you here :) I've not really heard Herbie Hancock. Hopefully, I can get a little more life into this group again. I've not been able to drum up as much activity in this group as the others thus far, but sometimes it just takes time:)
