- A member of the Florida Freelance Writer's Association and the recent recipient of several literary awards, such as, Poetry Life and Times, July 2007 Readers Poll, for “Best Poet!” and, The "September Poet of the Month" award at The Writing Forum and our very own, CTI Spotlight for January 2008! I have also been featured at Dog Day Press, in their first issue, "Hoi Polloi- A Literary Journal for the Rest of Us" with my poem "A Hobo in the Forest” and one of my original Pen and Ink drawings "A Hobo in the Forest". Most recently I was published with the "Taj Mahal Review" with two of my Pen and Ink drawings, " Eros Forest" and 'The Word-Pecker and the Witworms" and a poem, " A Bard's Cuppa Tea".
You will also find me in this up coming Fall 2008 issue of Mississippi Crow Magazine, with a poem called, "A Ripple in Time”
Recently, I have ventured into writing short stories, with interest and expertise in family life, children, nature, hiking, women’s interests, spirituality, Florida history, Florida fauna, and romantic humor. I am the mother of eleven children and grandmother to five beautiful grandaughters!

"Abstract Arches"
Out of a realm in some auriferous sky
beyond thoughts beckoning, impossibilities of my . . .
Made up animations . . . animating subsistence
Fluttering amid further, while furthering the distant distance
Here . . . hear how me my soul shivers, and a Spirit heir airs
An enhanced accent assenting to e’er
I unravel an unreal, unreeled by injection
like the feel feel insertions of serried perceptions
Exposing sees . . . the one’s never quite seized
I’m in another express
Addressing the undressed, baring bearing’s unsown
Going with the flow I’m all on my own!
For no one impression just daubs in the daub
The idea of it all paints paintings on walls!
With unseen colors . . . it lets me, I am!
I draw . . . I gleam, I’m set, set free on the lam!
A Vorse is a Vorse, even, of course will be coarse
Bristled with distinction
I followed the tracks in a stupor through cracks
Up aisles of isles of wiles and back!
With shoed feet in feat . . . my will spanned in knacks
I hung out on a limb to nick the abstract
This golden arcade that arched my existence
Appeared in a wight's rite, right of the essence
Braiding braids through my heart, in ribband exacts
Nee bending here where no sinner’s rove lacks
In aught, I just ought, and in wrest, I am resting
I wade for the wading, In sane, I’m abrading
I get caught in this seine
let lucid escape . . . rising up to that ghat that rases the bane
With a stoned quean of Queens, and a King that was thronged
Who reigns with reins, rapping wrappings of wrongs?
Babbling brooks of my breath, tempt my unmeaning’s so quenched
Thirsty at best, a swallow’s down nests . . . so Blessed!
So, sow real the far-reaching and dig out deep-seats of reasoning . . . leach from cering!
Wake up! . . . seams seem like their peeling!
Sing songs unstayed
Your schematic Creator 's way, weighs!
Representational truth lives life all aloof
abducted obtusely with no context in use
Come, walk with me in a Netherworld of the untamed
In an array . . . a ray, directing life force of day
Defining humanness under the surface of consciousness
insinuates no assailable boundaries in this world of incompetence
Stirring, stir the pot of our ingrained imaginations
In an aesthetic spawning stew for improver rations
Culminate now, with all your smears and yore splotches
Reach for apprizing . . . a mad organism watches!

The Path of a Creative Thinker at CTI
CREATIVE THINKERS INTERNATIONAL MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES
1. Membership at CTI is free and open to all those interested in either the production or appreciation of the creative arts, to include literature, visual art, dance, music, film, spiritual theory, the social sciences, philosophy, general humanities, scientific inquiry, education in general, and other disciplines intended to enhance the quality of life for all humanity.
2. Materials posted by Members of CTI are their sole responsibility and not that of CTI management or any other member of the CTI site.
3. While recognizing that the work of creative artists is often controversial by its very nature, CTI prohibits and discourages the posting of any overtly obscene and intentionally inflammatory material. These include overt pornography, racist diatribes, religious slander, and any postings promoting discrimination against or the oppression of other human beings.
4. In the interest of stimulating creative growth, we encourage dialogue and even debate. However, Members should avoid leaving intentionally offensive or antagonistic remarks on the pages of Fellow Members. We can disagree and still remain a harmonious community.
5. Explore, grow, share, and enjoy your creative success.
Please remember, these guidelines are likely to evolve as the site itself continues to evolve and develop. We welcome and encourage your input. After all, yours are some of the best minds on the planet so we would be very foolish not to listen to what you have to say.

As everybody knows, diversity is one of our primary strengths at CTI and the members of our community represent cultures from all over the world. They also represent individuals at different stages of their creative careers and development. One of those members is Victoria L. McColley, known to some as the Romantic Poetess, to others as Groovy Charmer, and to some simply as Vickie. Often described as a poet who utilizes visual art to write his poems, Luther E. Vann is an acclaimed artist who was fortunate enough to receive some of his first art instructions from recognized masters of the Harlem Renaissance. Like all artists of note, he shaped what he learned into a style of his own that fuses deeply spiritual imagery, metaphysical philosophy, and strong social realism. After a lifetime of dedication to his craft, his work will go on exhibit at the Telfair Museum in Savannah, Georgia, from April 16-August 17, 2008, and his first book, ELEMENTAL, The Power of Illuminated Love, is scheduled for publication in May.
