Truest Essences Of Purity
She slowly opens her quiescent heart
like the sacred Nymphaea pondweeds
I go there often to watch the snowy egrets
The dead waters ripple as the zephyr kiss's whisper
humming through the papery birch woods
I seen her standing by the covered bridge
The one where we carved a rose blossom
while the mint festival was in full bloom
…fresh picked mint is…

Oppp...didn't see your installation question before. By installation, I mean a display of our work for a given period of time. I believe that is the museum lingo for it. We were misinformed and we are in CONSIDERATION for next year for a display, but she says it looks good thus far.
The "installation" would consist of her work along with my poetry on display, or with excerpts of my poetry. I will have my poetry posted with her pics at Relaxed Machinery, a ning site I'm at. I'll link you once I get it done.
Cross your fingers for me...I'm probably going to be traveling to New York soon for the installation of my poetry inspired by my friend Starr Severons photography <- feel that? That's me crossing my fingers REALLY REALLY tight! LOL
Groovy music, as you would say. I just got this album, the A side, too. AHHH...good ol' Nujabes :) I believe this is artists remixing hist stuff.
I just linked my friend to your romantica poem. Got 3 books in the mail today...and I"m in one of them! "I want my poetry to" anthology by Inner Child Press. Does the happy dance. Even more books to go. I won 6, I believe :) <-Lucky these days
I'm challenging those I know in the poetic community to write a poem a day to celebrate national poetry month. Are you up for the challenge?
The comments thing is kinda wonky right now. I don't get a notification on my page that I need to approve comments, but they still need to be approved when I get to a poem. I had no idea that "Kisses" had so many comments for approval lol thanks for the commentary there. Time to skim through a bit and see if any other recent poems have comments HAHA!!

I'll be on tomorrow at 5:30 PM EST as a feature...I'm getting to be a busy boy! lol I May be featured a little later in April, too, and co hosting, too, at the sublimes poetesses poetry pyramid at talkshoe radio.
I love April now! It's the month of my birth AND national poetry month! (or international I think).
Escalators never really break, they only become stairs! HAHA Thought of that joke when I saw your most recent avatar
Yes, regular performances, indeed! We tend to go in bursts. Late Summer and early winter are our busiest times for the troupe. We are just going to be finishing up a bunch of gigs this early November. One of them is for a cancer benefit; nice to do the music for a worthy cause :)
The gig was a blast. I was able to really let go. All of us are really confident in our drumming, so we don't hold back at all. It felt good to the drumming ala high octane mode.
I shook a mans foot in hell that night...met a new aquaintance of mine, and he was dressed as a patient in crutches, but he had a foot sticking out of his chest, so when he went to shake my hand, I shook his foot! LOL LOL The place I was at, a spare basement room adjacent to a gallery was the venue, and they had the word "Hell" in blood red emblazoned atop the door entrance! MWAH HA HA!!
