More About Me and My World
My world is sometimes complicated and sometimes very simple. I have one grown son who is the light of my life and three cats I adore that take very good care of me. I have taught for 28 years and I am now a writer. The most astounding day of my life was when my first poem was published.
I am fortunate enough to have fantastic friends that people my world, they are the family I have built for myself.
The complicated parts are best kept to myself. I am Jewish by birth and choice but open to all forms of spiritual experience.

Ascent of the spheres

The ascent up the spheres
..it led me back to innocence

Through the kingdom of Malkuth,
That tree of life,
Fount of all that be,
The mother side of God,
That sacred fount that springs forth all there was,
All that shall ever be.

Through the foundation of Yesod
Wisdom of animals,
Wisdom of you,
Wisdom of me.

Through the glory of Hod,
Glory and splendour,
Of all God has made,
His glory abound to see.

Through the victory of Netzach,
That victory brought forth through our inborn endurance,
Our opportunity to excellence,
When we climb to be the God inside that we can be.

Through the beauty of Tiphareth,
The sphere of no enemies,
The beauty of all being in joy,
A scene replete with serenity.

Through the severity of Geburah,
That necessary severity,
Who’s strife strengthens us,
So that of further ascent up the spheres,
We may have the strength to see.

Through the mercy of Chesed,
Compassion of the infinite one,
Taking shape here,
Despite the universes vast sea.

Through the understanding of Binah,
The blessing of awarness,
Understanding of the whole through individuality.

Through the wisdom of Chokmah,
Sphere of his divine purpose,
As ascent to aspect of universe so sweet.

…and finally,
through the crown of Kether,
that divine source,
so close to the glory of God,
that I ache to taste honey of his presence,
on my lips for eternity.

All this has returned me,
To the innocence of me,
Has made me understand that I am fragile,
Because strength coming from rising from fragile,
Is so much closer to the strength of divinty.

Don't know what it is about early morns/late evenings, my lovingkindness really comes through. I thought I'd share this with a couple friends:

Witnessed a prayer of honesty,
for a lost soul to find its way.

I witnessed a prayer in earnest today,
made with our internal sublime.

What a beautiful thing it was,
this prayer so honest,
for a man, woman,
who lost their time,
of being loved,
of someone being kind to them.

I witnessed that prayer of earnestness today,
and it inspired me,
to pray for another anyone I see who has lost their way,
pray for them not through my words,
but through the words of encouragement that I would give them,
through the essence of their lonely day.

Peace, Namaste, Shalom
