Your Cubic Slang

Enclose the closeness in your soul,

Enclose it as you enclose the ''uco'' in cornucopious.

Enclose the gray transparency in your sky,

When it is so close to your coming clouds.

They are the dimples of your cognitive space,

They are hollow thoughts,

When you set your ideals at naught.

Those clouds are inside of your gray

As close as the ''co'' in the cocoon,

Those clouds are fulfilled with your leady rain.

They are…

Irises, a painting by Vincent van Gogh (Ekphrastic Poetry)

There is an explosion of green life in the light,

This life extrapolates  all its emerald green.

This life needs its eternity to be as tight

And as deep as an icy queen needs her own sheen.

And all the colors of the rainbow may be seen

In different amounts to the different shades.

Blue iris is placed in a complex world of green.

Into the flowers’ bed, these flowers are like spades.

They need to reassure, as Pantone may…

One improves his skills

One internalizes the values

One expresses his appreciation

One relies on all his senses

   even common sense...

One assimilates the ambivalence

Poem: Find Refuge in Him

The morally deficient have no clue,

not finding God within their heart;

are they absorbed by corruption

and unwillingly from sin to depart?

Our Lord gazes down upon Mankind,

seeing the vileness of human deeds.

Do these workers of iniquity know anything

about meeting any of humanity’s needs?

So many souls are wickedly consumed,

analogous to the devouring of bread.

How unfortunate and Godless they…

Truest Essences Of Purity

She slowly opens her quiescent heart

like the sacred Nymphaea pondweeds

I go there often to watch the snowy egrets

The dead waters ripple as the zephyr kiss's whisper

humming through the papery birch woods

I seen her standing by the covered bridge

The one where we carved a rose blossom

while the mint festival was in full bloom

…fresh picked mint is…

Upon seeing a class picture

Upon seeing a class picture

Upon seeing a decade-and-one-old photograph

Where I am one of the shy stars

Where the innocent faces feel the space

Where the focal point is a motherly mentor

This heart pulsates with

The singing gratefulness

And the lolling longing.

And so I feel thankful

That I had that bliss

Reminiscing, Recalling, Remembering:

Friends, adviser, classmates

With the…

Poem: Secrets Will Be Revealed

Become a spiritual light upon a hill, with faith

that does not flicker or become extinguished.

Let your life shine, thereby allowing the God-colors

within your life to draw others to Christ.

There is no hiding from Jehovah; why even try?

The Lord is not a man, that He should lie!

Learn to naturally avoid all forms of evil

and shun potential occurrences of spiritual upheaval.

Light always pierces and scatters…

Deo Gratias

Deo Gratias

Thanks to God

For all the blessings

For your mercy

For your grace

I need not say

But cathartic as it may

I dare say:

Deo gratias!

A million times

Or more

Deo gratias…

Thank God…

Thanks!

ECCENTRIC EXCITEMENT

                                     eccentric Excitement

I feel eccentric excitement

When I hear Literature

As if I dine with Zeus or Aphrodite

As I delight in poetry.

When I read Literature

As if I run in poetic rhythms

As I internalize Villa or Cumming.

I feel eccentric excitement

TEN SIGNS OF CUPID-STRUCK

10 SIGNS OF CUPID-STRUCK

While sipping a cup of coffee and listening to Kenny Rogers’ “I Will Always Love You” one morning, my mind was tickled by the thoughts of falling in love or having fallen in love.

Have I fallen in love?

Yes! I have fallen in love. As I was lost in my “bullet train-running thoughts,” I remember simple signs usually observed among enamored people. So, did I observe significant signs?…
