Eloquence of Silence

T’was early morn-Ten tic tacs more its one

Alone, All Alone beseech my souls tone

Emerging with query as the dogs moan;

Equanimity while Somnolence gone

Quintessence! It’s eloquence of silence

Soul’s mood mimics jolly rustling lizard

Deaf-blind through existence of flowing flaws;

As quite relaxed pretty… surviving hard

Heart sighs…palpitates! Peeping delight grows-

For…

ODE TO A FIRETREE

                      Ode to a Firetree

I wondered as a three-year-old boy

Why were you called such?

Why were you planted on that spot?

Why were you blest with vibrant foliage?

Why…

Poem: Attitudes

O Lord, how much of this reality

has no earthly bindings on me?

Help to shape my perception,

regarding the things, that I see.

As an intelligent person,

it’s obvious to avoid indifference

and fear, especially when there is…

a clear choice with a sure preference.

Although the future is unknown,

there's a proven solution to help one cope.

The guidance of the Scriptures…

To a Lovely yet Life-hating Lady

D’ jolly dreamer

Yes, you resemble Aphrodite.

Your eyes glisten as the rays of the sun

Your stature is envied by a thousand Eves

And allured a multitude of Adams

Indeed, you are lovely.

But, you think like Sisa

You have attempted to see heaven

Or perhaps hell. In no time.

Your mind creeps with pessimism

Your heart seemingly loves distress.

Oh, lovely, life-hating lady!

Can’t you realize…

Everyone Has A Story to Tell from Reconnecting With Life

2SC_8569.jpg

Everyone has a story to tell

Watch them with your eyes

Their beauty is in the story

Watch as the words unfold before you

Hear them bare their soul and respect the treasures they have found

The treasures which they hold dear

Everyone has a story to tell

Their fortune is…

Poem: Starving Souls

It’s shameful that people go hungry,

given the abundances of this planet.

And yet, there is more to life than food;

real sustenance that feed one’s spirit

should be given a higher priority.

Restraint of one’s flesh and earthly desires

can be more easily managed and contained

by the application of Godly principles.

Universal Truths satisfy the ravenous spirit

and provide the needed rest of…
