She yearned to mend my broken heart

She yearned to mend my broken heart,

through soft words both spoken and unspoken,

through the darkness of that lonely night,

when I thought my grief would never depart.

She yearned to mend my broken heart,

with the tenderness of her embrace,

that embrace that embraces all of my loves space.

She yearned to mend me,

to defend me,

while my heart was being mended under her loving wing,

to… Continue

Blowing Zen

Satori - Riley Lee

I heard the grace of notes of the universe,

blown in hollow reed,

the OHM of the universe,

whispered in a soft undulance of gentle sound,

planted like a sacred seed.

My hands grasp the bamboo shaft of creation,

the tool of my touching the sublime,

the universes divine insemination.

I close my eyes and breathe the breath of life,

my breath carrying a… Continue

I shall

I Waited For You (1998 Digital Remaster) - Miles Davis

I shall press my lips upon you,

till the very end of your sweet days,

pressing them close to yours,

even when worn thin,

by the pressing of many ends of years,

my lips shall still yearn to press their impress upon yours,

to press relief upon them in your miseries,

to press my joys upon them when our years ends come in both joys and fears.

I shall press my hips… Continue

You are my summer

Summer Night - Miles Davis

You are my summer,

through the winter of it all,

through the winter wonderance of whispy snowflakes in your hair,

the warm winding embrace of you,

wilting warming memories of winter fireplaces fiery hue.

You are my summer,

through the… Continue

Windmills

Windmills...

the twirling whirling windmills,

twirling whirling evey emerging entanglements of your hair.

Windmills...

the swilring whirring of the sound of your spiralling moan,

the rotating revolution of your loves revelation,

ripples like a water disturbed by a stone.

Windmills...

the windmills of my hands,

that rove across your lands,

the windmill twirling empresses of your loves… Continue

QUESTION?

Question?

What inspires you?

Where does inspiration come from?

How is it that some people are natural writers, musicians, photographers, poets.

Whilst others who crave this magical gift, find great difficulty in doing these things?

How is it that when you sit and try to be inspired nothing happens.

When in others the magic flows continously and they create from nothing.

Is it something we are blessed with?

Can we… Continue

My heart

My heart beats,

is sacred syncopation with you,

seeks a silent solace of your loves captured beat,

captured in the moving stillness of eros' beat.

My heart beats still,

as your image falls free,

glancing the sight of me,

the sight of you slides down me,

like dew on a window sill.

My heart beats in bestial rhythm,

primal recess beats urgency in the cage of hearts chest,

at the… Continue

I say goodbye

I say goodbye,

to the painful shades of life past hues,

the painful goodbyes and adieus.

I say goodbye,

to the universes hidden spy,

as I turn to my internal reflection perfected,

all delusions wrought from painful lessons not learned corrected.

I say goodbye,

to those who do not share the goodbye of the shades that held me fast,

to the lost and wandering meanderings of the past.

I say goodbye,

so that I may say… Continue

Blessings Received and Thanks Given (part 1 of 3): Painted Colors of Love and Wisdom

(Memories, Cousin Ozena: by Luther E. Vann)

If I were to put a number on all the things for which I am grateful in 2008, at the very least that number would be 320 because that’s how many sunrises I have seen thus far this year. Days are not something I take for granted, for in the immortal words of the great rhythm and blues singer Dinah Washington, “what a difference a day makes.” Indeed, the events that transpire… Continue

Honor

I honor you,

in the honestly of your emotion,

the revolution of revelation,

that not humans are from vice of sin free.

I honor you,

in the blessing that you made,

to turn the verse of phrase to love,

rising agove the stingnig of wrongs rained down with scorn.

I honor you,

with the blessing of your heart,

that has the power to impart,

the pureness of love,

that heals one to… Continue

My child

My child,

let me take the sufferance of the world from you,

take the weight of the world upon myself for you,

the heaviness of worlds plights to be subdued.

My child,

let me turn your fanices to dream in nighttimes stream,

to turn upon the head of joy,

delicious and wonderful dream.

My child,

let me cherish you to bring you to a wonderful womb,

nurturing and caring,

so that to… Continue

Do you remember nights

even the streets of london

thinking of times gone by

times and places friends so close

after dancing layed back

talkining nonsense

making sense

yes i remember the morning sun

My eyes

My eyes have looked upon you,

have seen the pain of your loneliness' song,

that song that I see in your eyes,

has been sung for so long.

My eyes have gazed upon you,

in love and wish of restore,

for the shattered tatters of your soul,

that shine as glints of broken crystal,

upon your sorry tears shore.

My eyes,

the look unto you,

and wish to heal you,

with the look of a most… Continue

I wish to bless you

I wish to bless you,

not with a litany of a thousand kisses,

but with the one that matters the most,

the kiss of all my feeling,

with feeling of utmost love,

this kiss that matters most.

I wish to bless you,

not with the roving all night of hands,

but with single profound touch,

that holds your hands across all lifes mysterious lands.

I wish to bless you,

with the most passionate… Continue
