Sara Louise Picturesque (Sonnet & Painting)

Picturesque by Sara L. Russell (aka Pinky Andrexa) I'll paint you in the colours of a day Rose-madder sunrise, amber, burnished gold; For nature has no solid black or grey And colour lets her miracles unfold. Adored by light, touched by ecstatic air And on the canvas lend your warming grace; All subtle shades of skin and tousled hair, So beautiful in body, soul and face. I'll paint you in the velvet tones of night, Emerging from the shadows of a dream; Temptation's muse, whose eyes… Continue

Joyce White The little boy and his first dirty word...

The little boy and his first dirty word tore at the sweet meat of his brain repeatedly and awkwardly like a young vulture snaring a tiny rabbit he was hungry and knew not else his first dirty word was beckoning him, he waited patiently, when early manhood calls, he must be ready. Continue

Joyce White Sculpting the Heart

Expressing ourselves creatively does more than bring us joy. It is just plain good medicine. It helps us resolve inner conflicts, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness. Even Jesus reminds us, if you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. What you do not bring forth from within will ultimately destroy you." I personally believe being happily engaged in writing and art making is better than not; and secondly, living without depression, pain and anger… Continue

Joyce White Unemployed? Go from Sad to Glad

There may be infinite reasons why the unemployed think their world is going to crap. More of us are out of work than not. As we are a nation of haves, it is particularly hard on us to suddenly have not. Published by Socyberty > Work Unemployed? Go From Sad to Glad!
