Joyce White Sculpting the Heart

Expressing ourselves creatively does more than bring us joy. It is just plain good medicine. It helps us resolve inner conflicts, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness. Even Jesus reminds us, if you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. What you do not bring forth from within will ultimately destroy you." I personally believe being happily engaged in writing and art making is better than not; and secondly, living without depression, pain and anger… Continue

Ma perciocche giammai di questo fondo Non torno vivo alcun, s’i’odo il vero, Senza tema d’infamia ti rispondo. In Love With Music Pearl Jam's "Reign Over Me" and September 11, 2001

The real subject of this movie sneaked up on me when I was watching it. I thought it was about two old friends getting together to complain about their lives and have some stupid guy time together. Then we find out the movie's really about the personal impact of 9/11 on the main character and how his personal part in the tragedy just broken him so badly he can't see to fix himself or his life. I've see a few really heartbreaking films on 9/11 and this is one of the most pow… Continue
