Author-Poet Aberjhani The Woman Who Lit the Smoking Poet's Cigar

Author-Poet Aberjhani Angel of Better Days to Come

(art by Luther E. Vann from ELEMENTAL, The Power of Illuminated Love) Rockets of blind faith sputter and crackle dead dreams–– like time bleeding stars. Through soft painted moans a man watches his life drown in waves of glass bones. Celestial winds blow chilled scContinue

Author-Poet Aberjhani Blessings Received and Thanks Given (part 1 of 3): Painted Colors of Love and Wisdom

(Memories, Cousin Ozena: by Luther E. Vann) If I were to put a number on all the things for which I am grateful in 2008, at the very least that number would be 320 because that’s how many sunrises I have seen thus far this year. Days are not something I… Continue

Author-Poet Aberjhani In the Company of Banksy, Proust, and It Looks Like Me

(Urban wall art by the brilliant and elusive British artist known as Banksy) One of my favorite thirty-second pastimes is to click on major websites for books and find out which titles customers are purchasing in addition to a specific book of my own. I was particularly curious abo… Continue

Luther E. Vann A Personal Journey of Years (Part 3)

The idea that our (Aberjhani’s and mine) work fit together like puzzle pieces was accurate and marvelous. In one way, however, it was incomplete because the work the two of us have done is only part of something much larger. The greater puzzle of universal wisdom a… Continue

Author-Poet Aberjhani The Homeless, Psalm 85:10

The shape of something uncaring and perversely cold stands up inside a man and he finds himself completely deceived. Believing this world’s anguish is something different from the love he keeps holding back. There Is a story about a wealthy man who gathered beggar… Continue
