About My Novel
Precisely as its title so unapologetically indicates, Scarlett O’Hara Can Go to Hell is not a Sunday stroll through myths of southern ladies in the United States waiting for heroic southern men to fill their lives with romance and adventure. If anything, it’s the exact opposite mesmerizing tale of one woman’s determination to re-write southern society’s definition of what her life should or can be.
Jewish by birth but free-spirited by temperament, the novel’s heroine, Naomi Kramer, declares her independence from tradition only to discover that freedom comes with as many challenges and demands as it does rewards and privileges. From her immigrant grandfather’s arrival in the United States in 1904 to Naomi’s powerful spiritual awakening in the 1980s, readers are treated to a journey through the unfoldment of one unforgettable woman’s life while simultaneously bearing witness to what history would come to call the American Century. In turns comically irreverent and soulfully inspiring, Scarlett O’Hara Can Go to Hell is one exceptionally enjoyable read.

Are you on AD? I am too. This sounds good, I can't imagine that your life isn't somewhat in your protagonist!
I hope I can see a picture of the cover and read an excerpt there. I too have a novel published POD. I'd like to say Purgatory. On. Demand. but it's incredible the talented authors who must publish this way. Too bad we can't get one of these publishers to actually do some marketing.
I think I made the mistake of writing way too much of an offbeat novel for my first outing... (The Last Renaissance Man) about a 17th century English composer who goes on a nightmarish journey of no-return as his glorious career collapses! (it's the music thing again) Never write about music, just play and listen to it!

The Path of a Creative Thinker at CTI
1. Membership at CTI is free and open to all those interested in either the production or appreciation of the creative arts, to include literature, visual art, dance, music, film, spiritual theory, the social sciences, philosophy, general humanities, scientific inquiry, education in general, and other disciplines intended to enhance the quality of life for all humanity.
2. Materials posted by Members of CTI are their sole responsibility and not that of CTI management or any other member of the CTI site.
3. While recognizing that the work of creative artists is often controversial by its very nature, CTI prohibits and discourages the posting of any overtly obscene and intentionally inflammatory material. These include overt pornography, racist diatribes, religious slander, and any postings promoting discrimination against or the oppression of other human beings.
4. In the interest of stimulating creative growth, we encourage dialogue and even debate. However, Members should avoid leaving intentionally offensive or antagonistic remarks on the pages of Fellow Members. We can disagree and still remain a harmonious community.
5. Explore, grow, share, and enjoy your creative success.
Please remember, these guidelines are likely to evolve as the site itself continues to evolve and develop. We welcome and encourage your input. After all, yours are some of the best minds on the planet so we would be very foolish not to listen to what you have to say.
