Every Day...

Every day,

I think of you,
as sundown settles into cradle of twilight's rest,
and stars come out to dance and play,
like the twinkle in my eye that dances when with you,
when we rest side by side at the end of the day.

Every day I pine for you,
as the pitch of night gives way to newborne dawn,
fawn awakened in unknown fields of forest,
forests where dwells the song of your loves promise,
whos' tune I listen for so that I may merrily sing along.

Every day I ache for you,
passions ache seeping through skin and even past bone,
to the most hidden inner recesses of my soul,
where your loves virtues are extoled to me,
telling me that THIS love
...is the love that will help me to grow wise,
that will help me to grow strong.

Every day I cry for you,
tears of joy when I feel you coming closer,
tears of sadness when I feel you drifting farther away,
sails of love set every eve,
as I let my soul drift to the soft shores of loves quay.

You are the one I think of,
the one I pine for,
the one I ache for,
the one I cry for,
and every day,
my love,
it starts for thee anew,
as every day I discover your love in new colors,
stepped in ever new shades and hues.

Come to me in the pitch of the stygian abyss,
set my soul to fire with your starlights healing kiss,
than lay me down to cool that fire with your loves healing shores;
show me the same adoration in heart and spirit that I imagine for thee,
even though I have not yet met thee,
and know that though I know not the signature of your loves presence,
that I already feel your presence there,
peeking into my heart with a hint of your loves aftertaste,
as I wake to that aftertastes sweetness,
and I whisper your unknown name
...as I imagine myself running rivers through your soft and pillowy hair...

:) I was listening to the song posted here, and this poem simply came to me. One of those utterly organic poems, where the emotion flowed utterly and completely freely, and the rhyme happened naturally<-see? even there, I rhymed :P HAHA...we poets can but rhyme...
