Hello, Georg. I saw you were online, and I wanted to say hi and Happy New Years. I hope your year goes well. I have alot on my plate artistically now, I am glad to say, with music and my writing. I've retooled my page completly as Robby Baby, the poet of amour. I think I've earned that title! ;) Check it out and let me know. I may add one or two more things, like a link to Harmonia, an early music program.

Have a blessed New Year, my friend.

Hello Georg! Thank you for joining my groups. Much appreciated. I will start orgainzing my time on the net more strictly so that I get a little bit done in each group I conduct (I have so many now)! instead of doing things in bursts. I will be putting some stuff up as a contribution to the CTI celebrations.

My desk is getting crowded with books to go, "As time goes by" short-stories, "The Job" third book of the trilogy (The mand on the Grassy Knoll and The Sniper's Song) "Shine the light on the Pumas eyes" children book and "Tender thoughts from a rose's thorn" poetry. (the only missing? a literary agent, know anyone an honest one?)
Then I need to finish one sculpture and seven oil paints.
Busy, yes, very. Never mind that in one hundred years all will be forgotten, but maybe what we do will give a push so our art will still going strong after we are gone.
Thank for all good wishes and for welcome me as a friend.
Always here

I just finished book number two and am working on number three so have to agree with Music down there that anyone who has produced four titles deserves some kind of acknowledgment of the accomplishment. Congratulations.

This lone island that I am, fortunately is getting populated by an old race called friends, solitude with so many around certainly doesn't have a chance.
Thanks for the good wishes and welcome, I am not so sure that I deserve it but I will try not to let down any one of you.
Always here

My dear, dear friend Georg, thank you for your kind words...they are always humble and full of love. Jelousy is the least of my concerns, but I did need some time away to catch my breath and to remember who I am. It is good to know who my true friends are, love from the beauty and the beast friend, Holly

TOMODACHI ACAZU

“Tomodachi acazu” means in Japan
“a friend with untiring zeal,”
the one which will be always there,
in times of sorrow to dry your tears,
and silently walk as over a tatami mat
with sadness you rest your head…

The one that in times of joy will collect
the smiles happily leaving your face,
so you wouldn’t forget them tomorrow
knitting smiles into an amazing maze,
like a golden spider made of laughter
trapping flying jokes in your garden…

A Shogun counts on the undying loyalty
of the Samurai’s katana deadly blade,
to protect his house and his well being
wherever he chooses his heart to place,
but only a simple man with no power
can call another man, his truly friend…

Lotus flowers gentle teetered by kamikaze
divine-wind taking warmth from your heart,
carrying the perfume of all your thoughts
to rest like a balsam on the tired hands
of the spirit that resides in your tomodachi,
that your friendship he wears, deep inside…

The one that will no abandon by leaving
without a word, like a raven by the night,
invisible, a false and malignant intruder
invading like deadly smoke your house;
with his untiring zeal for you, his friend,
he wouldn’t never desert from his guard…

A happy man, there is no one more happy,
that the one having at his side a tomodachi.

Tomodachi= Friend
Acazu= with untiring zeal

I said to a friend, that if you have friends, you will become an oasis in a barren world that doesn't want you.

Howdy Georg--

Thanks for the recent birthday wishes at AD and for the great poem you posted about one of the great pens of our time: Andre Emmanuel Bendavi ben-YEHU. I hope to log in at AD and comment on the poem soon. It's always wonderful to see poets honoring the old noble literary traditions in a modern way.

Much peace and many blessings to you and yours,

I thought I should look over your stuff a bit as you've joined our little group. Somehow your description of yourself fits what I imagine about you. You seem dignified but with a quiet sense of humor. As you say, its important to be humorous. Have you read Catch 22? I was wondering if you have, and how you relate it to your war experience. I liked it as a book, but as a film, it DID NOT WORK. The quirkiness of the book came out as craziness/zaniness in the film. I don't think you can put the tone of that book to film, really

Hello George, I Am Thinking About You & I just now read your poem down there & it is an excellently expressed poem...
"No one deserve to be abandoned with
such a hollow and unforgiving void,
which no tears will ever fill
and no heart could ever mourn.

No farewell as the right to be
that final, than empty of any hope,
no one can had deserved
to walk with that pain…alone."

My Heart Grieves In My Own Rememberances...
Much Love & Inspiration To You...
